Bihar Scholarship
Bihar Scholarship opens a vast range of educational opportunities for the students who are permanent residents of the state. The Government of Bihar and other private organisations together offer a number of scholarships for meritorious and underprivileged students of the state. The key objective of each scholarship is to encourage and motivate deserving students to pursue further studies regardless of any financial constraints. Candidates from SC, ST, OBC and EBC categories are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
There are many scholarships which are launched by the government of Bihar to implement good education system and to provide different type of benefits to all of the students who belong to a backward category or backward caste or economical backward caste in India. The scholarship which will be provided by the government of Bihar will help many of the students to gain good employment and education opportunities and they will be able to complete the education without any financial burden.
Bihar Scholarship 2022 Documents.
- Copy of educational certificates.
- Annual Income proof (Income Statement as an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper).
- Caste certificate.
- Domicile certificate.
- Bank account details.
- Income certificate
- Aadhaar card.
- Receipt of course (Post matric admission proof).
- Passport size photographs with student’s signature.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be a resident of Bihar State.
- The applicant must be studying in a post-matric class.
- An Applicant must be studying a recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary course.
- The applicant must belong to the category of backward class and EBC category.
- The annual income of the family may not exceed 1.5 lakhs.
- The applicant must be studying in the state or central accredited institution.
- If any students have cleared any course with the scholarship then he/she is not entitled to any other equivalent course.
- Only two male applicants of a family are eligible for the scholarship.
- If any of the students are already getting scholarships from any other institution, then they are not entitled to this scholarship
- If any of the candidates who after clearing one stage of education and are studying in the same stage of education in a different subject such as after I.A or B.Com after B.A or M.A in other subjects will not be eligible.
